Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 Does Not Preserve Historical Reports (295896)

SYMPTOMS

Reports that are created in Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2000 are not automatically preserved for historical trend analysis.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because by default, MOM does not preserve a history of reports.

RESOLUTION

To preserve a report, an administrator must use the MOM Reporting console to save the report. Additionally, there is no method you can use within the MOM Administrator console to schedule recurring reports. To accomplish this task, an administrator should utilize the Report Command Line Wizard from within the MOM Reporting console.
