Client for Microsoft Networks Appears as a Problem Device in the System Information Tool (295684)

When you run the Help and Support tool (Msinfo32.exe), the Client for Microsoft Networks may appear as a problem device. There may be either one or two lines that are displayed with the Client for Microsoft Networks in the Device column, and the value of 10 in the Error Code column.
CAUSE
This issue can occur when an Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) Compact Flash PCMCIA adapter is inserted into a laptop computer that contains an integrated Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE) 1394 port. The Help and Support tool incorrectly reports that the Client for Microsoft Networks is a problem device.
