Disk Management Snap-in Displays Red X for Volumes Spanning Multiple Physical Disks (295577)

Volumes that span multiple physical disks may incorrectly be marked as being in error when you view them in the Disk Management snap-in. However, those volumes contain no errors and you can access data on them successfully. This problem occurs randomly, and the problem may not reoccur if you quit the snap-in and then start it again.
