When you paste a table with formatting into another table with formatting, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft Publisher
Microsoft Publisher has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

CAUSE
This behavior occurs when you use the Paste Special command on the Edit menu, and then choose Table Cells With Cell Formatting in the Paste Special dialog box.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, remove the table formatting before you copy the table and paste the cells.
To remove table formatting, follow these steps:
- Select the table object.
- On the Table menu, click Table AutoFormat.
- On the Table format list, select (None), and then click OK.
