BUG: COM+ QC Server Application Does Not Shut Down If Local Client Is Running (294997)

When a client application uses a local COM+ queued server application, you cannot shut down the COM+ server application as long as the client application is running. As soon as you shut down the client application, the COM+ server application can be shut down as well.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
