OL2001: The Delegate Access Is Reset in the Final Release of Outlook 2001 (294620)

If you used the beta version of Outlook 2001 for Mac to set the delegate access, there may be differences in the functionality of the delegate feature and in the designated users and permissions after you install the final version of Outlook 2001 for Mac.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, remove and reset all the delegates and the attendant permissions. To do this:
- Log on by using a profile for the user who granted the permissions.
- On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
- In the Microsoft Outlook section, click Sharing.
- In Share My Data With These People, click all the previously added users, and then click Remove.
- Click OK, and then exit Outlook 2001 for Mac.
- Restart Outlook 2001 for Mac.
- Add individual delegates and attendant permissions in the Sharing dialog box.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
