OL2001: A Message Is Generated When You Forwarded a Meeting Request (294613)

SYMPTOMS

If you compose a meeting request in Outlook 2001 for Mac and save it without sending it, and later attempt to forward the item to attendees, a message is created that contains the text from the original item addressed to the attendees.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, open the meeting request from your Calendar and send it to the attendees. To do this:
  1. On the File menu, click New, and then click Mail Message.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Insert, and then click Item.
  3. Locate the saved and unsent meeting request in your Calendar, and then click OK.
  4. Click Send.
