OL2001: The 'Go To Date' Does Not Function in the Tasks View (294606)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Outlook 2001 for Mac
This article was previously published under Q294606 SYMPTOMS
When you view the Tasks window in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the Go To Date window appears when you press COMMAND (Apple) + G, as seen in the Calendar view, however the Go To Date on the Go menu is not available. When you enter a date that you want to view, the calendar does not open when you are in the Tasks view.
WORKAROUND
If you need to view a task on a particular day, sort or group the tasks based on the due date or the date completed.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
Pressing COMMAND (Apple) + G in any other Folder List view besides Calendar or Tasks produces an alert sound that indicates you have entered a key combination that is not recognized. Although you do not receive this alert sound in the Tasks view, the Go To Date window does not work.
