OL2001: The System Date Is Not Displayed for Recurring Appointments (294598)
The information in this article applies to:
- Microsoft Outlook 2001 for Mac
This article was previously published under Q294598 SYMPTOMS
When you create a recurring appointment in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the day designation Recurrence field does not follow the same Date and Time display format as the rest of your appointment settings or the rest of Outlook.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
When you run the US version of the Apple Macintosh Operating System (Mac OS) and a US version of Outlook, Outlook does not use these settings in all aspects of the program when you change the Date and Time formats in the Date and Time control panel to a different region.
If you want to have all the settings available in the Date and Time control panel appear in Outlook, you must install the localized version of the Mac OS, and the localized version of Outlook. For example, if you would like recurring appointments to display their recurrence criteria entirely in the German-language, you would have to install a German version of the Mac OS, and the German version of Outlook.
