OL2001: You Cannot Type a Subject in the Calendar Grid for the Japanese Version of Outlook 2001 (294582)

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Japanese version of Outlook 2001 for Mac under the Japanese version of the Apple Macintosh Operating System (Mac OS) 9, you may not be able to type in the Subject field of an appointment by using the calendar grid.

WORKAROUND

Use one of the following two methods to work around this problem:

  • Press the RETURN key. -or-

  • Double-click the time slot to open the appointment, and then type the subject in the appointment form.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
