When you synchronize Outlook 2001 for Mac while you are working offline, an entry in the synchronization log appears for the Journal folder, even though journaling is not active.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATION
By default, the journaling feature is not active in Outlook 2001 for Mac and it is not synchronized. The entry is written to the synchronization log because the Journal folder exists in the Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox.
