If you set your default font to either of the Japanese-language System fonts Chu Gosshikutai or Sai Miyouchoutai in Outlook 2001 for Mac, the text may be garble when you compose a message.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, set the default font to Osaka.

You can use either the Chu Gosshikutai or the Sai Miyouchoutai font in the body of the message if they are not set as your default font.
This behavior typically occurs on Apple Macintosh computers that use the Japanese Apple Macintosh Operating System (Mac OS) 8.6 or higher.
