SYMPTOMS

When you use the On-Screen Keyboard accessibility tool, most keys on the screen do not blink when you press a key on the external (physical) keyboard.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

This is a design change from previous versions of Windows. However, the functionality of the On-Screen Keyboard tool has not been affected.

Certain keys, such as the CAPS LOCK key, do indicate activation and deactivation in both On-Screen Keyboard and the physical keyboard.
