Internet Explorer 5 Back Arrow May Not Function as Expected (294341)

SYMPTOMS

When you click the back arrow button on the Internet Explorer toolbar to return to a document in the dashboard site, (that you opened by clicking the Discuss link under the document title) the back arrow button may not function as you expect.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, when you finish discussing a document in Internet Explorer, click the drop-down arrow next to the back arrow on the toolbar. A drop-down list displays the most recent browser pages, and then you can click the item in the list that corresponds to the folder from which you opened the document for discussion.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
