List Control Filter Bar Uses the Wrong Background color (294174)

SYMPTOMS

Programs that are written to use a HeaderControl with the HDS_FILTERBAR flag set can experience minor visual problems wherein white blocks appear in the Filter bar.

CAUSE

This occurs because an incorrect background color is used when painting the control.

RESOLUTION

This problem is cosmetic and does not cause any program instability.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
