Visio2002: Vertical Wall Shapes Are Unexpectedly Crossed When You Flip the Curved Wall Shape (294124)

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, detach the straight wall shapes from the curved wall shape, flip the curved wall shape, and then reattach the straight wall shapes. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Start Visio, and then open your drawing.
2. On the Tools menu, click Snap & Glue, and then click the General tab. In the Snap & Glue dialog box, click to select the Shape geometry check box under Glue to (if it is not already selected), and then click OK.
3. Click a straight wall shape, hold down the SHIFT key, and then select all other straight wall shapes that are joined to the curved wall shape. Dashed lines and selection handles around the shapes indicate that the shapes are selected.
4. Drag the straight wall shapes away from the curved wall shape to detach the straight walls from the curved wall.
5. Right-click the curved wall shape, and then click Flip Wall on Reference Line to flip the shape.
6. Rejoin the straight walls to the curved wall. Click a straight wall shape, hold down the SHIFT key, and then click to select the other straight wall shapes. Drag to reattach the endpoints of the straight walls to the curved wall.
   
   The endpoints turn red when the walls are glued together.
