Visio2002: Missing VSL Files Are Not Automatically Detected and Replaced (294021)

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to open either the Organization Chart Wizard or the Gantt Chart after the corresponding Organization Chart Wizard.vsl file or the Gantt Chart.vsl file is deleted from your computer, the Detect and Repair utility does not start as expected to automatically detect and replace the missing file.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, manually run the Detect and Repair command. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the the Visio Help menu, click Detect and Repair.
  2. Click Start.NOTE: If the Detect and Repair utility does not detect and replace the missing file, you may need to reinstall Visio.
