Visio2002: Currency Custom Properties Are Not Formatted Correctly in Reports (293991)

When you generate a property report that includes custom properties in Microsoft Visio, the format of the custom properties in the report may not be the same as that which you specified when you defined the custom properties.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- The custom properties are defined as currency.
-and- - The currency type matches the computer's regional (system) setting.
-and- - The selected format for the currency properties does not match the currency format setting (under Regional Options in Control Panel).
When Visio creates a report, the currency format setting is used for currency that matches the Currency symbol setting. Under these circumstances, the currency format specified in Visio is ignored.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
