SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to uninstall Microsoft Visio, you are prompted to restart your computer.

CAUSE

The prompt to restart your computer occurs if the Installer encounters a file that is still in use when you attempt to uninstall the program. Restarting the computer is necessary to quit the file (or program) that is in use and allows the Visio Setup program to continue normally.

RESOLUTION

When prompted to restart your computer, restart it.
