Visio2002: Cannot Save Visio Drawing as XML, No "Save as" Options in ODMA Dialog Box (293947)

When you attempt to save your Microsoft Visio drawing by using an Open Document Management API (ODMA) program, there are no Save as options listed in the ODMA dialog box. As a result, you cannot save your Visio drawing as an XML drawing (.vdx file).
NOTE: The Save as options and the specific name of the ODMA dialog box may vary, according to the ODMA program that you use.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you are using an ODMA program (such as Docs Open by PC Docs) to save the Visio drawing.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, quit the ODMA program, open your drawing in Visio 2002, and then save your drawing as an XML drawing (.vdx file) .
