Error 500 Message Occurs When You Are Using Access User Topology (293881)

When you are using Mobile Information Server with the Access User topology, and you attempt to browse an intranet site, you may receive the following error message on your wireless device:
Error 500

Description:
The Intranet Browse application failed to initialize, with error 0x8007064a. The configuration information in the Active Directory may be corrupted.
CAUSE
This issue can occur if you did not specify any intranet sites on the Intranet Browse Sites tab.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, use the Mobile Information Server System Manager to specify intranet sites that can be accessed by mobile users. To configure these settings, right-click the Mobile Information Server Installation icon, and then click the Intranet Browse Sites tab.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
