This article was previously published under Q293803

SUMMARY

When you create a meeting request for an online conference, you can add conferencing resources to the To and Cc lines in Microsoft Outlook directly. You can also use the Select Attendees and Resources dialog box that opens when you click Invite Others on the Attendee Availability tab.

MORE INFORMATION

When you invite attendees to your online conference, you enter the names by means of the Select Attendees and Resources dialog box. Names that you add to the Required field appear on the To line of the appointment item, while those that you add to the Optional field appear on the Cc line of the item.

To reserve a conference resource, you must add the resource to the Resources field of the Select Attendees and Resources dialog box. Adding the resource to the Resources field automatically places it on the To line of the appointment item. However, this does not prevent you from also adding the resource to the Required or Optional fields.
