SYMPTOMS
In SQL Server Enterprise Manager, after a merge publication is created with dynamic filters enabled, if you right-click any procedure in the published database, and then click Properties, click Permissions, and then click OK, the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) may fail.
This problem occurs on either:
- A Japanese operating system that is running Japanese SQL Server.
-or-
- An English operating system that is running English SQL Server.

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
