EnableTrace() Function Does Not Allow Changing Source's Control Flags After Source Is Enabled (293419)

When you use the Windows 2000 Event Trace functions, there is no way to give an event source (an event provider) new control flags without disabling and re-enabling the source. This can result in the loss of trace events while the source is being re-enabled.
Calling the EnableTrace function on an event source (provider) that is already enabled returns ERROR_WMI_ALREADY_ENABLED (decimal 4206 or hexadecimal 0x106e).
