Pcmcia Driver Problems Occur If a Filter Driver Is Attached (293385)

SYMPTOMS

Any upper filter that is attached to the Pcmcia driver can cause error code 44 on a blue screen if you disable and then re-enable a PC Card device.

CAUSE

The Pcmcia driver does not handle interrupt request packets (IRPs) correctly when a filter driver is attached.

RESOLUTION
