This article was previously published under Q293296 SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to configure the Microsoft Exchange Connector for Lotus Notes, you may notice that the Routable Domains and Source Name and Address Book fields are limited to 15 characters
CAUSE
This is a limitation of the user interface, not of the connector itself.
RESOLUTIONWARNING: If you use the ADSI Edit snap-in, the LDP utility, or any other LDAP version 3 client, and you incorrectly modify the attributes of Active Directory objects, you can cause serious problems. These problems may require you to reinstall Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server, or both. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems that occur if you incorrectly modify Active Directory object attributes can be solved. Modify these attributes at your own risk.
Use ADSI Edit, included with the Microsoft Windows 2000 Support Tools, to change the attributes directly. For information about how to install the Windows 2000 Support Tools, view the
Sreadme.doc file in the Support\Tools folder of the Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
To use ADSI Edit to change the legacyExchangeDN attribute:
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows 2000 Support Tools, and then click ADSI Edit.

cn=Connector for Lotus Notes (machinename), cn=Routing Group Name, cn=Routing Groups, cn=Administrative Group Name, cn=Administrative Groups, cn=Exchange Org Name, cn=Microsoft Exchange, cn=Services, cn=Configuration, dc=subdomain, dc=domain, dc=ext
