OL2002: Mail Synchronization Does Not Succeed When You Deploy an MSN Account (293037)

After you add an MSN (Microsoft Network) account in the HTTP dialog boxes of the Custom Installation Wizard, you are unable to download mail from MSN when Outlook starts.
WORKAROUND
To work around the issue, change the account type to MSN in the properties of the e-mail account:
- On the Tools menu, click Email Accounts.
- In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click View or change existing e-mail accounts, and then click Next.
- Click the MSN account, and then click Change.
- Under Server Information, change the HTTP Mail Service Provider to MSN, click Next, and then click Finish.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
