OL2002: Outlook 2002 Closes When Clicking in Calendar After You Open Recurring Appointment Series (293027)

SYMPTOMS

When you open and close a recurring appointment series and then click back on the Calendar, Outlook displays a warning that it needs to close. This occurs when the following conditions are true:
  • You are using the Day/Week/Month Calendar view
  • The Preview Pane is enabled

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, click the View menu while you are in the Calendar folder, and then turn off the Preview Pane.
