OL2002: Outlook Indicates a Reply to a Message Though You Delete the Reply Without Sending It (293000)

SYMPTOMS

When you delete a reply to a message without sending it, Outlook incorrectly indicates in the header of the original message that you sent a reply, and the e-mail icon for the original message changes to the Reply icon.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
