OL2002: Message Reply Inherits Secure Receipt by Default (292981)

SYMPTOMS

When you reply to a message that has a secure receipt, your reply has a secure receipt by default.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, remove the secure receipt option:
  1. Open the message you want to reply to, and then click Reply.
  2. Click Options, click Security Settings, and then click to clear the Request secure receipt for this message check box.
  3. Click OK, click Close, and then send the message as usual.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
