SYMPTOMS

If you try to copy information from a Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) page to an appointment, the formatting may not appears as it does in the original Web page.

CAUSE

This problem can occur because the selection and the copying process of some Web pages may not retain the formatting instructions because some HTML objects can be protected.

WORKAROUND

Use one of the following methods to work around this problem:
  • Provide a link to the desired Web page in the body of the appointment. -or-

  • Paste the information as plain text to the body of the appointment.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
