When you view a meeting request in the Preview pane of Outlook 2002, you may receive the following error message:
This item contains active content that cannot be displayed in the preview pane. Open the item to read its contents.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the meeting request is using a custom form that cannot be displayed in the Preview pane.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, double-click the meeting request, and then view the contents of the meeting request.
