SYMPTOMS

If you use the wheel of an Explorer Mouse with Outlook 2002 to scroll from one long subject to another, the tool tip that lists the entire subject does not update.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, avoid using the mouse wheel. Instead, you can use the vertical scroll bar for navigation and then hover the mouse pointer over the message subject.
