SYMPTOMS

When you use Outlook's Find or Advanced Find function to search on a portion of an Internet e-mail address, no search results appear.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because of content-indexing issues with Exchange Server.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, perform a search by using the full Internet e-mail address as the criterion.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
