OL2002: Error Message When You Fax a PowerPoint 2002 File as an Attachment in Outlook 2002 (292868)

When you try to fax a PowerPoint 2002 file as an attachment from Outlook 2002 by using the Windows 2000 Fax Service, you may receive the following error message:
Microsoft PowerPoint: The printer name, device driver or port for this print job were not specified or are invalid.
After you click OK to the error message, the message remains in your Outbox folder. When Windows 2000 next starts, it may try to send the fax.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, print the file to a fax:
- In PowerPoint, on the File menu, click Open, locate the file that you want to fax, and then click Open.
- On the File menu, click Print.
- In the Print dialog box, click the Name arrow, click Fax, and then click OK.
- Follow the steps in the Send Fax Wizard to complete the fax process.
