OL2002: You Cannot See the Note Items in the Notes Folder When You Are Offline (292862)

SYMPTOMS
If you configure Outlook to use a Microsoft Exchange Server e-mail account, notes that are in your Notes folder are not available when you work offline.
WORKAROUND
Use the following steps to work around this problem:
- Start Outlook, and then click Connect when you receive the prompt to work online.
- Click the Notes folder.
- On the Tools menu, click Send/Receive Settings.
- Click Make this Folder Available Offline.
- Click the Inbox, and then click Send/Receive on the toolbar.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
