SYMPTOMS

If you perform a Send/Receive without a network connection to a Microsoft Exchange Server after you log on, you receive an incorrect status information and the Outlook Send/Receive Progress status bar may appear to be 33 percent (%) complete. If the process times out or is canceled, the task reports that it has completed successfully and you may not receive an error message that the connection to the server is unavailable.
