SYMPTOMS

If you are using an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) account while you work offline and you attempt to move a message header to another folder, you may receive the following error message:
Can't move the items. Unable to download item contents. You must be online to perform this operation.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, download the messages before you select to work offline.
