FIX: COMTIIntrinsics Property Is Not False by Default (292818)
The information in this article applies to:

According to the MSDN Components Collection Web site, the COMTIIntrinsics property should be False by default.
However, COMTIIntrinsics is actually True (or ON) by default, which prevents components from being created in the default context.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft COM+ Rollup Hotfix 10. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a bug in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
