SYMPTOMS

When you view a folder list of a Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 mailbox by using Outlook Mobile Access (a program that is included with Mobile Information Server) with either a Nokia 7110 or EZOS Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) browser, you may receive the following error message:

This problem can occur if you have used folder names that are made up of accented and/or extended characters. The Unicode Transmission Format 8 protocol (UTF-8) encoding for these folder names exceeds the maximum length that can be assembled and received by the preceding WAP browsers.
