OFF2001: Microsoft Office Manager Starts Wrong Program When Multiple Versions of Office Are Installed (292784)

When you select a program from the Microsoft Office Manager (MOM), the correct program is not started.
NOTE: This behavior occurs most frequently if both Microsoft Office 98 and Microsoft Office 2001 are installed and listed in the Microsoft Office Manager.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, you must reset the paths to the appropriate programs in the Microsoft Office Manager Customize dialog box. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click the Microsoft Office Manager menu, and then select Customize on the pop-up menu.
- In the Customize dialog box, click to select a program from the Menu and QuickLaunch items, and then click Edit.
- In the Edit Office Manager Item dialog box, click Change.
- In the New Office Manager Item dialog box, navigate to and select the appropriate program icon, and then click Choose.
- In the Edit Office Manager Item dialog box, click OK.
- Repeat steps 2 through 5 for all programs that display the behavior described in the "Symptoms" section.
