FP2002: Only the Last Item in a Multiple-Copy Operation Is Displayed in Office Clipboard Task Pane (292705)

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft FrontPage 2002, if you copy multiple items, and then view the Office Clipboard task pane, only the last item that you copied is displayed.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the default setting for the Office Clipboard in FrontPage allows collection only while the Office Clipboard task pane is open. After you open the Office Clipboard task pane, all items that you copy are collected and displayed on the Clipboard.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
  1. Start FrontPage.
  2. On the Edit menu, click Office Clipboard.
  3. In the Office Clipboard task pane, click Options, and then click Collect Without Showing Office Clipboard.
The Office Clipboard can now collect items even if the task pane is not open.
