FIX: ISQLWCE for PocketPC SH3 Has Incorrect MFC and OLE DLLs (292616)

SYMPTOMS

In the original release of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for Windows CE Edition, the ISQLWCE for PocketPC SH3 processor contains the correct build of ISQLWCE.exe. However, the two DLL files MFCCE300.dll and OLECE300.dll that are in the same directory are for MIPS processor. The DLL files are in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server CE\ISQLWCE\Pocket PC\Sh3 folder in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for Windows CE Edition version 1.0.

RESOLUTION

This problem has been corrected in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 for Windows CE Edition version 1.1.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
