When you attempt to use the /j switch with the Windows Installer package for the System Files Update (Osp.msi), you receive the following error message
The system does not require any system file updates to run Microsoft Office XP edition; the System Files Update will not run on this computer.
where Microsoft Office XP edition is the edition of Office that you are using; for example, Microsoft Office XP Professional with FrontPage.
CAUSE
The System Files Update does not support advertisement by using the /j switch, or any combination by using the /j switch. For example, /jm or /ju also generates this error message.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, install the System Files Update without using the /j switch. You can install the System Files Update when you run the Setup program for Office, or you can install the System Files Update directly by using the Osp.msi file.
