This article describes how to use Misdbmon.exe to view debug output after you set debug flags in the registry on a Mobile Information Server computer.

To log debug output to a file:
  1. Copy Misdbmon.exe to the Mobile Information Server computer where the registry flags have been set.

    NOTE: Restart the Internet Information Services (IIS) Administrator program after you add debug flags to the registry.
  2. Double-click the Misdbmon.exe icon.
  3. Type the location and name of the file that you want to contain the debug output.
  4. Click Start logging to file.
  5. Click Quit when you have finished capturing information.
NOTE: You must run this utility from the console of the Mobile Information Server computer. This utility does not function if you run it during a Terminal Services session.
