Row persistence limitations in Outlook 2003 and in Outlook 2002 (292250)

SYMPTOMS

Row persistence was designed to retain the folder selection when you move away from and back to a folder. Row persistence may not work as expected with a Calendar, Notes or Tasks folder views. Row persistence does not work with the Contacts folder.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

Mail Folders

Default views for all folders that contain messages.

Calendar

  • Events
  • Custom, ungrouped table views
  • Notes List
  • Last Seven Days
  • Active Tasks
  • Next Seven Days
  • Overdue Tasks
  • Assignment
  • Completed Tasks
