The Microsoft Small Business Financial Manager (SBFM) is not included with Microsoft Office XP Small Business Edition. However, with Microsoft Excel 2002, you can use the SBFM that is included with the Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business Tools.

Using SBFM with Excel 2002

To use SBFM with Microsoft Excel 2002, follow these steps:

1. Install the Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business Tools. These tools are located on CD 2 of Microsoft Office 2000 Small Business Edition and Microsoft Office 2000 Premium.
2. Upgrade to Microsoft Office XP.
3. Install the Microsoft Small Business Tools 2000 Patch. To download this patch, see the following Microsoft Web site:

The patch also allows the Small Business Customer Manager to function properly with Microsoft Office XP.
