WD2002: Text Selection is Not Printed Using Default Page Layout (292139)

SYMPTOMS

When you print a text selection from a document that has been formatted in booklet layout, the text selection is printed in booklet layout.

You expect a text selection to be printed using the default page layout.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, change the page layout to Normal before you print a text selection. To do this, follow these steps:

Start Microsoft Word 2002, and then open the document that you want.
On the File menu, click Page Setup.
In the Page Setup dialog box, on the Margins tab, in the Multiple pages list, click Normal, and then click OK.

Text selections are printed using the default page layout.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
