WD2002: Word for Windows 95 Revision Mark Information Is Displayed Incorrectly (292089)

When you attempt to use Microsoft Word 2002 to open a Microsoft Word for Windows 95 document that contains conflicting revision marks from multiple reviewers, the names of the reviewers and the dates of the revisions are displayed incorrectly.
For example, if a document contains a revision that was inserted by User 1, and then subsequently deleted by User 2, Word 2002 displays the description of the revision as follows
rather than the expected:
User 2, date time:
Deleted
WORKAROUND
To work around this issue, save the document as a Word 2002 file, and then continue to track changes and comments in your document. The existing revision information from the earlier version of Word remains unchanged. However, reviewer names and dates for new changes and comments are now displayed correctly.
