This article describes how to clear the Most Recently Used list, which shows other users' folders that have been opened in Outlook on a computer that runs Microsoft Windows 2000.

  1. Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe).
  2. Locate the 101e0390 value under the following key in the registry:

    HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\<ProfileName>\0a0d020000000000c000000000000046

  3. Click the 101e0390 value in the right pane of the Registry Editor.
  4. On the Registry menu, click Export Registry File.
  5. Browse to the drive and folder where you want to store the export, type MRURegKey in the File name box, and then click OK.
  6. After you export the file, right-click the 101e0390 key, and then click Delete.
  7. Quit Registry Editor.
